By afternoon you descend Gatun Locks to the Caribbean, then continue along the coast to the western San Blas Islands. Low, palm crowned cays appear ahead, ringed by white sand and turquoise shallows. Anchor among the reefs, take a first snorkel before dusk, and enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood under a vast canopy of stars, far from any city lights.

Begin your final day with an early swim over sandy patches and coral gardens, or a tender ride between nearby cays as the sun climbs over the Caribbean. After a relaxed breakfast, raise anchor and set a course back towards the canal. A second transit returns you through the locks and lake system to the Pacific, giving you a new perspective on the same world-famous waterway. By late afternoon you are once more off Panama City, cruising along the Causeway with the skyline turning gold in the low light.
